It was over 90* in town and up on MT Evans it was 45* at noon. The wind was mild but with rain and hail off and on. What you would call nice weather at 14,000 feet.
The photos below bring me right back. I can almost feel the clean crisp air and see my breath. In the distance you could hear the thunder rumble and see the faint yellow glow of lightening throughout the clouds.
